ROLE PURPOSE
The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in our blending/packaging operations in Sycamore, IL. The Maintenance Technician is required to maintain and repair a variety of production and plant facility equipment and assist the manager with ordering parts, standardizing components, and maintaining repair parts inventory
The Maintenance Technician must be able to work from daily job assignments, prints, schematics, wiring diagrams, machine manuals, sketches, preventive maintenance, work orders, and instructions to perform the following tasks:

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; work from heights, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to see color and adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is potentially exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions on site. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust. In addition, this job also operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

When determining final compensation, we take into consideration: skillset, job scope, knowledge, prior experience, cost of living, market data, budget availability, and other factors as permitted by law.
Starting rate of pay for this position is: $30.67/hr.
