    Position Overview

    The Maintenance Mechanic will maintain a variety of production equipment at our facility. Machines include CNC machines, stamping presses, 5-axis lasers, and other production related machines. You will perform tasks including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while observing all health and safety guidelines. The successful candidate will have attention to detail and the ability to work alone or with others.

    Essential Job Functions

    • repair, , and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in various production and related services.
    • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment with appropriate electronic record keeping.
    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
    • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and machine controls.
    • Support outside contractors in heavy electrical troubleshooting and repairs on various components and systems, including motors, wiring, and control panels.
    • Operate various tools and equipment including: hand and power tools, metal fabrication equipment and welding equipment.
    • Audit facility and equipment for safety compliance to Federal and State regulations as well as Company requirements.
    • Maintain a good attendance record, practice safe work habits and follow all safety procedures including LOTO.
    • Perform any other facilities support tasks as required.

    Education & Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • 2+ years of proven maintenance experience in manufacturing environment

    Qualifications

    • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and OEM manuals
    • Must be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Valid Driver's license
    • Willingness to learn
    • Able to demonstrate knowledge of machine repair
    • Strong electrical skills (12V, 24V, 110v, 220v, 480v) preferred
    • Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical press systems
    • Knowledge of fiber optic and C02 laser machines
    • Ability to operate various tools and equipment including: hand and power tools, metal fabrication equipment and welding equipment.
    • Welding experience a plus
    • Ability to work at heights of up to 40 ft
    • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required

    Physical Demands

    • Ability to lift up to 50 LBS, lift twist, grab, stand (up to 8 to 10 hours), walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
