MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

• $86,000+ annually

ROLE IMPACT
Lead a maintenance team in a large food manufacturing operation with a focus on equipment reliability, accountability, and continuous improvement. Success means developing technicians, strengthening the preventative maintenance culture, reducing downtime, and eliminating recurring equipment failures through disciplined Root Cause Analysis (RCA). This role prioritizes effective people leadership and communication alongside technical maintenance expertise.
KEY DUTIES
• Supervise, coach, and develop approximately five maintenance technicians plus a lead, establishing clear expectations and accountability.
• Drive Preventative Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and reliability initiatives to reduce equipment downtime.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement sustainable corrective actions rather than relying on repeated repairs.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives that improve maintenance processes, equipment performance, and production reliability.
• Partner with production and operations teams to communicate priorities, resolve equipment issues, and strengthen maintenance culture.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 3-5 Years of Leadership Experience
• 4 Years of Experience in Maintenance Tech | Food Manufacturing or related field
• Demonstrated maintenance leadership experience with the ability to coach technicians, build accountability, communicate effectively, and lead teams with humility.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Preventative Maintenance (PM), equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and Continuous Improvement in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or another clean, quality-driven manufacturing environment with GMP practices.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Food manufacturing environment with 19 production lines.
• Facility operates in cold conditions: approximately 45°F in production and 35°F in the warehouse.
• Allen-Bradley PLC experience preferred.
• Work requires collaboration with maintenance technicians, production teams, and plant leadership in an active manufacturing environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and TPM experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills with a preventative maintenance mindset.
