What You'll Do
The Maintenance Technician position involves the maintenance, repair, and installation of all major equipment and building systems under the supervision of experienced technicians. This includes production equipment and all areas related to mechanical and structural building upkeep.
Under the guidance of experienced technicians, work on all major equipment maintenance projects, including, but not limited to, extruders, media cutters, high-intensity mixers, kilns, industrial burners, dust collectors, vacuum pumps, and conveyorsPerform PM tasks as well as various scheduled machine auditsAssist in developing preventative maintenance plans for all critical machines and systemsWork with EHS group to complete relevant safety audits and contribute to safety-related projectsAlways maintain a clean and safe work environment while assisting with cleanup efforts.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this position, you must:
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalentTraining will be provided for all equipment and tools required that are specific to our operationExperience using hand tools and powered hand toolsWillingness to learn and develop new skills with welding and machining equipmentWillingness to learn new roles and tasks as business needs evolveHave a strong commitment to safety and work well in a team environment
