    About the Role:

    As a Maintenance Technician at Contech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities include:

    • Providing technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and install all plant equipment. 
    • Accountable for Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) process.
    • Educates, directs and supports employees in in reference to TPM and equipment repair compliance and is responsible for maintenance budget.
    • Supports Contech Plastics Manufacturing by addressing technical problems, conducting root cause analysis, and liaising with plans and suppliers to resolve equipment issues with sustainable long-term solutions.
    • Identifying cost-effective solutions for replacing obsolete components.
    • Reads and interprets blueprints for repair and installation of equipment and performs welding, brazing and soldering as required to maintain plant equipment.
    • Performs welding, burning, brazing and soldering as required to maintain plant equipment.

    About You:

    We Require:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 2 years of manufacturing experience. Prior maintenance experience preferred.
    • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints.
    • A hands-on approach to job tasks, including seeking additional information when necessary.
    • Self-starter and able to execute job tasks with limited supervision. Motivated to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
