Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role performs preventive maintenance, responds to downtime events, and supports continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED (technical school or apprenticeship preferred).
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment (adjust as needed).
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair:
Mechanical systems (drive systems, bearings, alignment, lubrication)
Basic electrical (motors, relays, sensors, VFD basics preferred)
Pneumatics/hydraulics (cylinders, regulators, valves)
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic tools (multimeter, amp clamp, etc.).
Comfortable working on feet, heights, and lifting up to 35 lbs, and working in a plant/facility environment.
PLC troubleshooting exposure (Allen-Bradley/Siemens)-basic I/O checking.
Welding/fabrication experience (MIG/TIG), pipefitting, or refrigeration/HVAC (if applicable).
