Description
Production Maintenance Mechanic-2nd shift
* will need to train on 1st shift for 2 months then transfer to 1st shift- Work with mechanical, pneumatic maintenance, machinery, equipment, and light electrical repair.
- Diagnose machinery and equipment malfunctions to determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and timely efficient service on machines while coordinating PM schedule with Supervisor.
- Coordinates with Storeroom/Inventory Specialist by identifying parts and services needed to complete maintenance tasks/projects.
- Makes necessary modifications and implements test runs; confers with Supervisor regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
- Collects feedback on potential repairs & improvements
- Understands company policies, follows and enforces safety regulations, participates in safety initiatives, learns production schedule, and is aware of production schedules when estimating completion times or a repair assignment.
- Recommends measures to improve efficiency, equipment performance, and quality of the product. Will also diagnose mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions to minimize future downtime.
