Our client, a leading organization in the industrial and manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork, excellent customer service skills, and a highly professional attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Pay Range: $30.00
Shift: M-F 6am - 3pm with on-call rotation
What's the Job?
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and execute repairs efficiently.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Review work orders and collaborate with systems to track completion and ensure timely service.
- Support energy management initiatives by maintaining efficient operation of all building systems.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to follow work routines and standards, including physical requirements such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting heavy loads.
- Strong communication skills for exchanging straightforward information clearly and concisely.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
