Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing maintenance projects, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting manufacturing operations. This role focuses on analyzing and resolving technical problems related to electronic systems, performing repairs, completing work orders, and ensuring machines and equipment are prepared for production through setup, ramp-up, and start-up procedures. The technician will support equipment installations, maintain technical documentation, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, complete repairs, and execute assigned maintenance work orders.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, ramp-up, and start-up activities.
• Operate and adjust specialized machines, tools, and equipment, including basic CNC parameter setup/programming when required.
• Gather, record, and analyze equipment or production data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, maintenance records, and process information.
• Support Industrial Engineers with manufacturing equipment projects and process improvements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operators and junior maintenance personnel.

Qualifications:

• 2-year vocational training or technical certification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, production equipment, and technical processes.
• Hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical systems, machine operations, assembly processes, and industrial tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, production, laboratory, or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow standardized procedures and work independently.
