• Pay Rate: $21.00 $22.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

Job Summary

As a Mobile Maintenance Technician, you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and ground requests. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. The candidate will be provided a van and will be servicing 8 different locations within approximately a 15-mile radius around Buffalo, with sites located in healthcare facilities. The role is mostly independent in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs; manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information; respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
• Service scheduled worksites for preventive maintenance (PMs).
• Perform general maintenance, check doors, and basic carpentry.
• Plan out work order tickets.
• Complete expense reports.
• Participate in safety trainings.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced plumbing skills
• Healthcare maintenance experience
• CMMS experience

Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required; in lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered
• Valid driver's license required

Required Experience

• 1 2 years of job-related maintenance experience

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Healthcare facility maintenance experience
• CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• This is a mobile technician role; candidate will be provided a company van
• Servicing 8 different locations within approximately a 15-mile radius around Buffalo
• Sites are located in healthcare facilities
• Must meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
• Overtime expectations apply

• Interview process: 2 rounds, virtual interview (Microsoft Teams)
• Position has potential to convert to permanent/FTE if budget and headcount are available; potential conversion salary: $65,000
