Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Richmond, VA
Pay Rate: $65,208 annually
Shift: 6:30am-2pm
What's the Job?
Perform maintenance functions including repairs in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems with minimal supervision
Plan and execute projects while providing accurate cost estimates under guidance of the maintenance supervisor
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure smooth operations
Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs
Support installation of new equipment and participate in quality improvement initiatives
What's Needed?
At least 2 years of related mechanical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Knowledge of electrical circuit troubleshooting, PLC, electronics, and pneumatic systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping diagrams
Mechanical Journeyman or Technical/Vocation Certificate preferred
Ability to lift 50 to 70 lbs occasionally and work in confined spaces or at heights as needed
