We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our hotel engineering team. What You'll Do
Ensure the hotel's maintenance and upkeep standards meet White Lodging, brand, and guest expectations across all areas of the property
Make structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings; patch or replace plaster and plasterboard; paint walls and ceilings
Trim, cut, and lay flooring — including linoleum, tile, and carpet — as part of routine hotel maintenance and renovation work
Check fixtures, lighting, and signage for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
Respond to and complete hotel maintenance work orders in a timely, guest-focused manner
Keep all work areas — including the maintenance shop and guest rooms — neat, safe, and orderly
Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general hotel maintenance, with the ability to operate hand and power tools proficiently
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems — extensive training provided; prior HVAC experience is a plus
Valid driver's license — required
High school diploma or equivalent — required; prior technical, trade, or vocational training preferred
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 25 lbs. occasionally; ability to stand and move for extended periods
