    Maintenance Technician

    Location: 897 Lancaster Pike, Quarryville, PA 17566

    Work Hours: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday

    Buck Company LLC is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Quarryville, PA! In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in keeping our foundry running smoothly by maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment-both in our shop and out on the production floor. You'll work on everything from shaker tables and conveyors to motors and bearings, using your mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure our operations stay efficient and safe.

    What Youll Do:

    • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, production machines, and furnaces to ensure optimal operation.
    • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues by observing devices in operation. Dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble, and make necessary adjustments to restore efficient operation.
    • Occasionally required to operate welding equipment for minor repairs and adjustments.
    • Perform routine safety and operational tests on equipment.
    • Review work instructions and documentation to confirm accuracy and recommend improvements.
    • Meet qualitative and quantitative productivity requirements while working independently to carry out assignments to completion.
    • Maintain strict compliance with all Buck Company safety policies and standard operating procedures.

    What We're Looking For:

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Strong ability to understand and follow written and verbal processes and instructions.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate across all levels of the team.
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
    • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
    • Technical training, trade school, or related coursework.
    • Prior experience with welding is preferred.
    • Prior experience with electrical troubleshooting and repairs a plus.
    • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with Buck Company safety policies.
