Holiday Inn Portland Airport is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and overall functionality to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, Keeping the pool balanced
Inspect equipment and identify repair or replacement needs
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks efficiently
Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized work
Maintain accurate records using CMMS systems
Assist with general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance experience required
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, and basic PLCs
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Good communication and customer service skills
