Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, Divert’s Maintenance Technicians play a pivotal role as they drive operational efficiencies while championing our safety and culture initiatives. Our Maintenance Technicians work in our Integrated Food Processing and Renewable Natural Gas facilities, utilizing cutting edge technology to solve the food waste crisis.
Shift:
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring the team adheres to all safety guidelines and policies including but not limited to PPEs, gas monitoring devices, LOTO (Zero Energy State), Fall Prevention, Confined Space, Hot Work, and more
Conducts daily plant walkthroughs for safety and equipment inspections
Conducts daily review of the HMI/controls for operational parameters
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on time on numerous types of equipment including but not limited to: three -phase motors, gearboxes, belt and screw conveyors, various presses, compressors, augers, pumps, fluid tanks, piping, and valves.
Diagnose and repair faults in machinery, electrical systems, and control systems. Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues in hardware and software.
Troubleshoots and repairs feedstock processing equipment, waste -water treatment equipment
Coordinates and communicates downtime of equipment for planned maintenance operations with the Site Leadership Team
When needed, assigns PMs to appropriate site Maintenance and Process teammates in accordance with the skills matrix
Documents all Maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System
Assists in inventory management for spare parts and equipment for the site
Understands and drives Maintenance activities to optimize Key Performance Indicators
Coordinates and supervises 3rd party contractors as needed to execute maintenance operations
Leads or supports special projects and plant improvements
Operates Powered Industrial Vehicles to include but not limited to forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial platform lifts
Other duties as assigned include supplementing Process manpower at the appropriate level of training per the skills matrix.

Is able to handle potential changes in temperature on site, humidity and wetness in working areas
Minimum Education and Experience
HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
1-3 years Industrial Maintenance, Fabrication
2 year Technical Degree, Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenace or related field, or Military background is a plus
1-3 years in a Leadership role is a plus
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication in English
Basic computer proficiency and mathematical skills
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting skills are essential.
Ability to read and edit P&IDs and schematic diagrams.
Understanding of sensors, actuators, and motion control systems.
Ability to help create structure and drive teams toward meeting business objectives utilizing standardized processes
Experience leading in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Technical aptitude and ability to think critically
Careful attention to machine specifications and tolerances, ensuring systems are running efficiently and safely.
Willing to work overtime
