Maintenance Technician

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $28–$36 per hour, based on experience
• Sign-On Bonus: $3,000, paid after 30 days
• Shift Differential: Currently $0.25/hour for 2nd shift and $0.50/hour for 3rd shift, with plans to increase to approximately $1/hour
• Schedule: Full-time, permanent
• Schedule options: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Initial Training: Approximately 90 days on 1st shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Must be available for weekends and overtime as needed
• Most schedules are 12-hour shifts, depending on plant needs

About the Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment in a 24/7 food and beverage manufacturing facility. This position works closely with production to minimize downtime, maintain equipment reliability, and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of industrial maintenance experience and a strong mechanical background. Experience troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is highly valued. Food manufacturing experience is a plus, but strong industrial maintenance candidates from other manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, mixers, fillers, and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose equipment problems and make necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Perform machine setup, testing, rebuilds, and emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot sensors, photoelectric eyes, and Allen-Bradley controls.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Perform basic welding, and facility repairs as needed.
• Complete maintenance work orders and communicate equipment issues to leadership.
