About the Role:

CBRE is looking for a Maintenance Technician/Painter to help keep a large aerospace manufacturing facility looking its best. CBRE is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician/Painter responsible for preserving and enhancing the appearance of facility interiors and exteriors through painting, patching, surface preparation, and general building upkeep. This role will focus heavily on paint and drywall repair, wall restoration, touch-ups, coatings, and maintaining a high-quality finish throughout the site. Ideal candidates will have strong paint and patch experience, knowledge of surface preparation techniques, basic carpentry and maintenance skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the physical capability to perform manual work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering a professional appearance while supporting overall facility maintenance needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Paint and Patch, Furniture Assembly, Install Cabinets and Shelving, Light Carpentry
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
  • Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
  • Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including

a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position

is or $27.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is

$32.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate

will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
