Our client in Mckees Rocks PA is looking for a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician
Duties:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements on all plant equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordinate and schedule external service providers when necessary (Maintenance Foreman only).
- Procure replacement parts and supplies for equipment as needed (Maintenance Foreman only).
Conduct routine safety inspections on designated machinery and equipment.
- Assist with additional responsibilities as required, in alignment with the flexible nature of working in a small company environment
Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years of maintenance experience in a Manufacturing Setting
- Knowledge of and direct or related experience of repair and maintenance of equipment, especially machinery used in the specialty steel industry. ·
- Knowledge of electrical machine repair and maintenance is essential. · Knowledge of burning and welding. ·
- Pneumatic, Hydraulic, YTE pertaining to Lathe and Milling Machine in order to Yield and Tensile Strength Testing.
