Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial maintenance experience, along with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Schedule1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PMOvertime and weekend availability may be required based on business needs.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial equipment troubleshooting and repairs.Diagnose equipment problems, replace or repair components, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders.Use hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment.Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines and equipment.Support production needs and respond to equipment-related issues in a timely manner.Communicate effectively with production and other departments.Assist with the introduction and installation of new machinery and processes.Maintain spare-parts inventory and support cost-effective maintenance practices.Help develop and implement maintenance processes to improve equipment reliability and functionality.Follow all safety regulations and maintain clean and organized work areas.Analyze maintenance requirements related to equipment, materials, and personnel.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Completion of a craft apprenticeship, such as Millwright, or equivalent combination of education and maintenance experience.4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.Strong experience with:Mechanical systemsElectrical systemsHydraulic systemsPneumatic systemsIndustrial equipmentElectronicsPLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)PLC programming and troubleshooting experience strongly preferred.Welding and fabrication experience preferred.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to read equipment manuals, work orders, and technical documentation.Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs.Key SkillsTechnical expertiseStrong mechanical aptitudeTroubleshooting and problem-solvingCommunication skillsResults-driven mindsetLeadership skillsStrong attention to safetyAbility to work effectively with multiple departmentsWork EnvironmentThis position may involve exposure to:Moving mechanical equipmentWet or humid conditionsExtreme heat and coldFumes and airborne particlesChemicalsElectrical hazardsVibrationOutdoor conditionsElevated work areasEmployees are expected to follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.TravelOccasional travel may be required for training and support at other company locations.
