About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be accountable for maintaining bakery equipment and facility systems in a safe, reliable, and operational condition to support daily production requirements. This role is critical to minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment.

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and control system issues.
- Support production operations by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and verifying equipment performance following repairs.
- Execute equipment overhauls, installations, and maintenance activities in alignment with production schedules.
- Operate maintenance tools, machinery, lifts, and material-handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and work orders within the CMMS system.
- Promote compliance with food safety, GMP, quality, and workplace safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment; OR 5 years of related industrial maintenance experience in lieu of education.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Experience in at least two of the following areas: refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, or food manufacturing process controls.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and controls documentation, including P&IDs, single-line drawings, loop drawings, and equipment layouts.
- Knowledge of equipment setup, operation, functionality, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Proficiency with computer systems, email applications, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Refrigeration systems experience.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Boiler and air compressor maintenance experience.
- Machinist experience and knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment.
