Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities
 Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and make repairs as necessary.
 Perform routine safety and environmental inspections.
 Troubleshoot and repair facility support equipment and building infrastructure.
 Maintain equipment in accordance with a written Preventive Maintenance Program.
 Maintain accuracy of equipment drawings and manuals as modifications are made.
 On a limited basis, perform production duties as needed.
 Housekeeping associated with maintenance and production as needed.
 Any other duties that may arise in the area of Site Maintenance.
 Administrate reporting requirements for Site HSE plans

Knowledge/Experience/Skills Needed
 5+ years as a mechanic/electrician in a manufacturing environment.
 Experienced at installing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems and equipment.
 Experienced maintaining and troubleshooting PLC systems.
 Knowledge of motor controls, process instrumentation loops and mechanical drives.
 Proficient at reading and interpreting electrical schematics, pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.
 Experienced with DC, single phase AC, and three phase AC power.
 Experience repairing/rebuilding complex mechanical equipment to close tolerances
 Experienced in metal cutting, welding and fabricating.
 Experienced in pipe fitting with both metal and PVC pipe and fittings.
 Good verbal and written communication skills.
 Experienced lift truck operator.
 Heavy manual lifting (routinely 25-50 lbs/max lifting of 100 lbs.), climb ladders and work at heights of 50 ft or higher.
 Be able to work outdoors, if needed, during inclement weather.
 Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with little supervision.
 Flexible to work a variety of shift patterns and overtime as required.
