Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification, associate degree, or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA standards.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a distribution center, warehouse, or fulfillment environment.
• Experience maintaining automated conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and material handling equipment (MHE) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V and utilizing CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) and working at heights preferred.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 12 hours per shift.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
• Able to bend, stretch, reach overhead, climb ladders, and work in confined or awkward spaces.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment with moving equipment and varying operational demands.

Job Duties

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, ASRS equipment, and facility assets.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, controls, belts, rollers, dock doors, and stretch wrappers.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and motor control diagrams.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and maintenance records using CMMS software.
• Support equipment installations, commissioning activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance team members while supporting facility upkeep and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do

As a Maintenance Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.
