    HiFyve is hiring a Night Shift Maintenance Technician in Schulenberg, TX.


    Pay: $28–$40/hour (depending on experience)

    Shift: 5pm - 5am, work 3 days one week & then 4 days the next week. Example: work Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Tuesday this week and vice versa the next week.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support repairs and installations across a food-grade manufacturing facility. This is a day shift role with steady hours and minimal overtime.


    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and utility equipment
    • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
    • Install, modify, and upgrade equipment as needed
    • Work independently to complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
    • Use SAP or other CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance logs
    • Order parts and supplies for maintenance activities
    • Maintain compliance with safety and food safety standards (GMPs, HACCP, SQF)
    • Assist in training production operators on basic equipment maintenance
    • Participate in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives


    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
    • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Proficient in the safe use of tools and shop equipment
    • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and P&ID schematics
    • Experience troubleshooting systems involving pumps, motors, valves, VFDs, and 120/240/480 VAC power
    • Familiarity with shaft alignment, IR scanners, and other diagnostic tools
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, SAP or similar CMMS)
    • Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
