HiFyve is hiring a Night Shift Maintenance Technician in Schulenberg, TX.
Pay: $28–$40/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: 5pm - 5am, work 3 days one week & then 4 days the next week. Example: work Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Tuesday this week and vice versa the next week.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support repairs and installations across a food-grade manufacturing facility. This is a day shift role with steady hours and minimal overtime.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and utility equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Install, modify, and upgrade equipment as needed
- Work independently to complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
- Use SAP or other CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance logs
- Order parts and supplies for maintenance activities
- Maintain compliance with safety and food safety standards (GMPs, HACCP, SQF)
- Assist in training production operators on basic equipment maintenance
- Participate in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in the safe use of tools and shop equipment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and P&ID schematics
- Experience troubleshooting systems involving pumps, motors, valves, VFDs, and 120/240/480 VAC power
- Familiarity with shaft alignment, IR scanners, and other diagnostic tools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, SAP or similar CMMS)
- Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
