Description
Maintenance Technician provide technical support, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and rebuild machines, perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned, and respond to breakdowns in a professional and timely manner while following all safety protocols. Working knowledge of PLC's, HMI's, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems. Demonstrates an awareness of the relative urgency of tasks and responds accordingly. Resolves routine questions and problems, coordinates complex issues to others. Independently performs assignments after given instructions as to results expected.
Job Responsibilities
Repair, maintain, and rebuild all production equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Coordinate maintenance processes with the production department in a way in which the production output and packaging are least affected
Respond to calls from production and management to make repairs
Perform established preventative maintenance programs
Assist with all aspects of new equipment installation
Assist management with scheduling maintenance projects
Maintain accurate and complete departmental records
Qualifications
Safe work habits, following proper LOTO and other OSHA requirements
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
Must have own and work with maintenance tools
