Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and relocation of complex CNC and manual manufacturing equipment throughout the facility. This position will play a key role in keeping production equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform preventative maintenance, calibrate and adjust machine tools, maintain spare parts and technical documentation, and assist with equipment modifications and minor facility maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and relocate complex CNC and manual manufacturing equipment and machine tools throughout the facility.
- Use equipment manuals, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and other technical documentation to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment problems in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and make necessary repairs or adjustments to restore equipment to optimal operating condition.
- Develop, maintain, and execute preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, equipment records, and the facility's technical library.
- Manage and maintain the spare parts inventory, including ERP data entry and procurement of maintenance supplies.
- Calibrate, adjust, and maintain machine tools and related equipment to ensure proper operation and accuracy.
- Modify manufacturing equipment and building systems to support specialized functions and production requirements.
- Perform minor facility maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Respond appropriately to spills, equipment incidents, and other facility-related situations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized maintenance area while following 5S principles and established safety procedures.
- Perform other maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Technical certificate/diploma in maintenance, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field plus two years of relevant experience, OR six years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical documentation.
- Working knowledge of electrical circuits and the ability to use electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Understanding of applicable OSHA safety standards and practices.
- Experience working in an ISO-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience troubleshooting and maintaining CNC machinery and CNC controls.
- Proficiency with PCs and Windows-based computer systems.
- Experience using machine tool calibration equipment and performing calibration procedures.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and basic HVAC troubleshooting.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Pay: $30.00–$36.00 per hour
Actual starting pay will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, professional certifications, local labor market conditions, language skills, and other job-specific qualifications. Minimum pay rates will comply with applicable county or city requirements when those rates exceed the listed range.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
