Maintenance Technician

About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports production uptime and operational efficiency through preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment repairs, machine performance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Maintenance Technician works independently and collaboratively to ensure all equipment operates safely and effectively while supporting the organizations quality, safety, and production goals.
What You Need To Be Successful:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment repair
Knowledge of robotics, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems
PLC troubleshooting experience and ability to read schematics and blueprints
Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens Step 7 controls
Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Basic understanding of building maintenance and facility systems
Ability to work safely while following lockout/tagout procedures and other safety requirements
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed
Bonus Points If You Have:
Technical certification in Electrical, Robotics, Mechanical, Fabrication, or a related field
Forklift and/or Manlift Certification
Safety Certification
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
Experience tracking downtime and documenting process improvements
Advanced blueprint and schematic reading skills
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Technical certification in Electrical, Robotics, Mechanical, Fabrication, or a related technical field preferred
Travel:
Minimal travel required.
