Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the New London area. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery.
- Conduct inspections to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs in a timely manner.
- Assist with facility improvement projects as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal facility performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
