BG Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a well-established property in the Chicago area. This is a full-time, weekday position offering steady hours and competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on apartment units and common areas
• Respond to service requests (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.)
• Prepare apartments for move-ins and move-outs (turns)
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently

Requirements:

• Previous apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
• EPA, HVAC, or other maintenance certifications a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
