Position Summary
We’re looking for skilled, dependable Maintenance Technicians to join our Property Management Team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll help ensure our residential properties are safe, well‑maintained, and welcoming for residents.
What You’ll Do
Property & Maintenance Support
Respond to service requests and complete work orders efficiently
Perform preventative maintenance to protect property quality and long‑term performance
Prepare residential units for new move‑ins (“make‑ready” work)
Safety & Inspections
Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs
Participate in an on‑call rotation to address emergency maintenance needs
Documentation & Professionalism
Maintain accurate timesheets, work orders, and maintenance logs
Represent PPL professionally and build positive, respectful relationships with residents
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred)
At least 1 year of property or building maintenance experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and good driving record
Basic hand tools (hammer, screwdrivers, etc.)
Strong communication skills and comfort working with diverse populations
Additional Qualifications
Boiler License (preferred, not required)
3–7 years of residential building maintenance experience
Proven technical skill and ability to work independently
Ability to lead or direct maintenance staff in the absence of the Regional Maintenance Supervisor
Pay & Schedule
$27-$30/hour DOQ
Full‑Time | Non‑Exempt
