    What you'll do

    • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks for residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting
    • Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions
    • Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and other team members to provide updates and clarify project requirements
    • Manage your schedule efficiently to balance planned maintenance and urgent repair requests
    • Maintain accurate records of completed work and report on project progress as needed
    • Recommend cost-effective solutions and improvements for property maintenance and upkeep
    • Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion
    • Order materials and replace damaged parts of the property
    • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
    • Consistently use electronic management software
    • Perform other duties, as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to upholding the highest standards of service
    • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
    • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environments
    • Previous experience in maintenance, carpentry, general contracting, or other related fields
    • Familiarity with hand-held power tools and equipment
    • Deadline and detail-oriented
    • Have either proficiency or willingness to use technology-based methods for tracking and note-taking
