What you'll do
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks for residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting
- Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions
- Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and other team members to provide updates and clarify project requirements
- Manage your schedule efficiently to balance planned maintenance and urgent repair requests
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and report on project progress as needed
- Recommend cost-effective solutions and improvements for property maintenance and upkeep
- Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion
- Order materials and replace damaged parts of the property
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Consistently use electronic management software
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environments
- Previous experience in maintenance, carpentry, general contracting, or other related fields
- Familiarity with hand-held power tools and equipment
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Have either proficiency or willingness to use technology-based methods for tracking and note-taking
