Maintenance Technician – Metal Fabrication

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in a metal grating and steel fabrication facility. This role focuses on minimizing downtime and keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently. 

Pay: $35–$40/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time | Overtime as needed
Day Shift (Training): 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Night Shift: 4:30 PM–1:00 AM

Location: Orem, UT

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair brake presses, punch machines, cutting machines, welding equipment, CNC machinery, and conveyors
• Maintain and troubleshoot 1-ton to 5-ton overhead cranes
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Troubleshoot 480V–600V systems, motors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment adjustments, and repairs

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• MUST have own tools
• Experience with metal fabrication or heavy industrial equipment
• Experience maintaining or troubleshooting overhead cranes (1–5 ton)
• Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Experience with 480V–600V electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
