Job Details

Our client is a growing manufacturer in the Greater Milwaukee area seeking Maintenance Technicians to support equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and production operations. This opportunity is open to candidates ranging from mechanically inclined technicians looking to grow their maintenance careers to experienced maintenance professionals with strong troubleshooting skills.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, working with equipment, and helping keep production running efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
* Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
* Support equipment reliability initiatives and help minimize production-interrupting downtime
* Conduct inspections and identify potential equipment issues before failures occur
* Assist with repairs, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
* Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
* Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to support production goals
* Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment

Qualifications
Required
* High School Diploma or GED
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset
* Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, procedures, and technical documentation
* Basic computer skills
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to safety and quality
* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and support production needs
Preferred
* Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, military maintenance, automotive repair, diesel repair, or related mechanical trades
* Experience troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical systems
* Experience working with pumps, valves, conveyors, motors, or production equipment
* Preventive maintenance experience
* CMMS or maintenance software experience
* Experience with automation, controls, drives, sensors, or PLC-operated equipment
* Technical training, military experience, journeyman status, or trade certifications
