We're seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join a stable manufacturing operation in Medina, Ohio. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and working in a hands-on environment, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career.
In this role, you'll help keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. You'll work on a variety of industrial machinery while collaborating with an experienced maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues and replace or repair defective components.
- Install, maintain, and repair motors, bearings, gears, valves, sensors, switches, and related equipment.
- Perform welding and basic fabrication as needed.
- Install and repair hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems.
- Complete maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance documentation.
- Assist with equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, bearings, and industrial machinery.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience, including industrial equipment up to 480V, is preferred.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
