Maintenance Technician / Mechanic – Direct Hire Location: Indianapolis, IN Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM Pay: $24–$26/hr+ (Based on Experience) Overtime: ~10 hours/week (includes occasional Saturdays)
Pro Resources is hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician / Mechanic for a well-established metal manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. This is a direct hire opportunity with a stable company that values experienced technicians who can take ownership of equipment reliability and keep production running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
Troubleshoot and maintain CNC and manual machinery
Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement solutions
Support equipment installs, upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
Partner with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
Follow safety standards and participate in ongoing safety training
What We’re Looking For
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls
Experience with CNC equipment is a strong plus
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Felony-friendly (case-by-case with client approval)
