Overview: Door Engineering is seeking a dynamic, high achiever ready to learn and grow with our organization as Maintenance Technician in our Mankato location. This role works three (3) 12-hour days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. This full-time position operates in a multi-craft environment, focusing on problem-solving, exceeding customer expectations, and demonstrating a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance (PMs), and minor electrical repairs.
• Utilize robotics experience (if available) to enhance maintenance operations.
• Commit to working safely, performing quality work, and responding promptly to internal customers.
• Demonstrate proven mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and repair machines.
• Diagnose and repair electrical equipment with proven electrical skills.
• Utilize metal fabrication skills involving welding, cutting, and construction.
• Safely use shop tools and equipment.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Requirements:

• Prefer experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial facility.
• Proven mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and repair machines.
• Proven electrical skills to diagnose and repair electrical equipment.
• Proven metal fabrication skills involving welding, cutting, and construction.
• Proven experience utilizing shop tools safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer post-high school education specifically in an industrial trade-related field.

Desired Qualifications:

• Technical aptitude and experience with industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
• Robotics experience is helpful but not required.
