SUMMARY
Maintenance Technician is responsible for the coordination and the accomplishment of facility maintenance and work operations, following recognized industry standards for such work in a Safe and efficient manner. The Maintenance Technician will perform several job duties involving electrical, plumbing, hydraulics and mechanical work. Evaluates, diagnoses, and troubleshoots systems/equipment as assigned. The Maintenance Technician must communicate well with Manager at all times.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all building(s) following all safety policies in place. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will assess and consider daily the safety and quality of our, products, and the security assets.
Maintenance Technician reports to Manager. Maintenance Technician will report any Food Safety and Quality problems to Manager to initiate immediate actions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES
•Have knowledge of conveyors and industrial machinery.
•Demonstrate an ability to diagnose and repair all plant manufacturing equipment including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and gas.
•Scheduling lubrications, filters, and cleaning –have a good understanding so that PMs can be conducted.
•Keeping the maintenance shop area clean and orderly will allow the technician to work efficiently and productively.
•Maintenance Technician will show interest in expanding technical abilities, and will able to continue to perform well. Besides demonstrating proficiency, it is required that the technician is able to understand and adhere to all safety procedures.
•The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for any additional duties, or responsibilities, that may be designated by his/her manager.
•Maintaining, trouble shooting and servicing industrial equipment.
•It is necessary for the technician to understand basic electrical theory, pneumatic, hydraulic and lubrication systems.
•Prioritize, plan, schedule and perform daily machine repairs.
•Must use sound judgment when dealing with and eliminating safety related issues.
•Must communicate regularly with manager.
•Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
•In depth electrical experience and/or mechanical background.
•To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate must have 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or an Associate degree in a maintenance related field.
•You must be a self-starter and have a ‘fix it right the first time”mentality.
•Lifting requirement –80 lbs.
Depending on experience pay rate will range from $16-$28/hr
All shifts available. Must be flexible. 1st Shift: 7: 00 AM - 3: 00 PM2nd Shift: 3: 00 PM - 11: 00 PM3rd Shift: 11: 00 PM - 7: 00 AM
