Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Lenexa, KS

Pay Range: $26-$36

Shift: Rotating schedule 2 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, 3 on, 2 off - 6:00am to 6:30pm.

What's the Job?

• Handle emergency maintenance issues to maintain daily production levels
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and repair work orders
• Support daily manufacturing, filling, and packaging operations by making repairs to improve efficiency
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems as required
• Fabricate minor replacement or repair parts within the maintenance shop

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of applicable work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with automated production equipment
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical systems, and controls technology
• Strong mechanical skills including disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of equipment
