The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing basic maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of equipment and facilities. This entry-level role involves assisting more experienced technicians, learning maintenance procedures, and gradually gaining the skills necessary to troubleshoot and repair equipment. The position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations by maintaining machinery, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Responsibilitiesarrow_right

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components such as bearings, chains, gears, belts, shafts, and drive systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electro-pneumatic, electrical, and machine control issues using effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Use electrical testing equipment to verify continuity, voltage, resistance, and AC/DC circuit performance.
• Inspect and maintain sensors and automation components to ensure efficient and reliable machine operation.
• Support equipment installations, root cause analysis, maintenance documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while following safety standards and collaborating with operations teams.

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of maintenance or related industry experience.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical and electrical issues.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and machinery operation.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in the safe use of hand tools and basic maintenance equipment.
