    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:
    • Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, robots, conveyor systems, production machines and other equipment.
    • Troubleshooting electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, running electrical conduit, and read electrical prints.
    • Performing equipment installation, PMs, and completing assigned projects.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • The Maintenance Technician will be maintaining & supporting all equipment in JIT Production Environment and other areas as required.
    • Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM's as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner.
    • Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
    • Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.
    • Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM's & work history electronically in eMaintenance System.
    • Complete all required and applicable training required by Adient.
    • Must be willing to work overtime as needed (daily, weekly, shutdowns etc.)
    • Must be willing to work any shift on short, but reasonable notice. 
    • Must continuously improve and develop skills/knowledge.
    • Complete all other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
    • Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.
    • Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating Lift
    • Excellent attendance and steady work history.

    Experience and Education Requirements

    • 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
    • Industrial automotive experience (Preferred).
    • Mechanical, Technical & Electrical Expertise (Preferred).
    • High school diploma or equivalent, certification (Preferred).

    Job and Physical Requirements

    • The Maintenance Technician must be able to work on 2nd shift (Mon - Fri, 2:00pm - 10:00pm).
    • Ability to lift 30lbs.
    • Ability to safely access vertical areas via stairs or ladder.
    • Ability to safely work with Power Tools.
    • Standing or walking 6-8 hours to assist production.
    • Bending, Pushing, & Pulling.
