Job Title: Maintenance Technician IIIJob Description
The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for the daily repair, adjustment, and maintenance of equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability by maintaining equipment functionality. The position requires forklift certification and demands adherence to correct lifting techniques, proper body mechanics, and safe work practices due to its physical nature.
Responsibilities
+ Prioritize and execute work orders in assigned areas, as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
+ Maintain and repair all production equipment.
+ Use PLC for troubleshooting production equipment.
+ Edit programs to accommodate new procedures on existing equipment.
+ Modify programs for the control of conveyors or stacking machinery.
+ Replace motors.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics.
+ Install and repair plumbing systems.
+ Splice conveyor belts.
+ Rebuild gear boxes.
+ Perform pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
+ Install and relocate machinery.
+ Repair hot melt units.
+ Complete general electrical and mechanical repairs.
+ Perform building maintenance repairs.
Essential Skills
+ Electrical, Mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting experience.
+ Preventive maintenance skills.
+ Ability to read electrical schematics and European schematics.
+ At least 7 years of relevant work experience.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Working knowledge of department safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge in robotic/CNC systems to support electronic interfaces, mechanical installations, design/fabrication, repair, and maintenance.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to develop operating and maintenance manuals.
+ Ability to create preventative maintenance schedules.
+ Capability to read and understand components, machine design electric, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, and blueprints.
+ Basic math and engineering skills for equipment or fixture design/modification.

The position is based in a manufacturing warehouse environment, which may include exposure to heat, cold, fumes, chemicals, allergens, and mold. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
