    Maintenance Technician III – Industrial Maintenance (3rd Shift)

    Location: Cincinnati, OHJob Type: Full-Time, Direct HireShift: 3rd Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:45 PM–10:45 AM Overtime: Saturdays as needed; Saturday hours are paid as overtime

    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician III to join a manufacturing operation in Cincinnati, OH. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment.

    The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to diagnose complex equipment issues. This position also provides technical guidance and mentorship to Maintenance Technician I and II team members.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment
    • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
    • Troubleshoot electrical circuits, controls, and industrial equipment
    • Diagnose equipment issues using electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
    • Interpret ladder logic for troubleshooting purposes
    • Troubleshoot and work with sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, and other electrical components
    • Install, test, modify, and upgrade manufacturing equipment and machinery
    • Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance emergencies
    • Perform equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur
    • Assist with equipment installations, machinery upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
    • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, forklifts, aerial lifts, and other maintenance equipment
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Maintenance Technician I and II employees
    • Support efforts to improve equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area
    • Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance best practices

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
    • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
    • Strong electrical troubleshooting experience
    • Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing or production equipment
    • Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits and industrial equipment
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings
    • Experience with preventive maintenance programs
    • Experience with PLC systems and industrial controls
    • Ability to interpret ladder logic for troubleshooting
    • Experience with sensors, relays, contactors, and VFDs
    • Welding and fabrication experience preferred
    • Experience with automation or automated manufacturing equipment is a plus
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance issues
    • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced maintenance technicians
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Technical school, vocational training, or maintenance-related certification is a plus
    • Ability to pass a Ramsey mechanical aptitude assessment

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around machinery for extended periods
    • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally handle heavier materials with assistance
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, varying temperatures, and elevated work areas
    • Ability to operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other maintenance equipment as needed
