As a Maintenance Technician II at Sol38, you'll play a critical role in creating an exceptional living experience for our residents through quality service, meaningful relationships, and pride in your craft.
What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician II, you'll help ensure that Sol38 remains a place residents are proud to call home by:
- Completing service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
- Assisting with apartment turns and make-ready processes
- Performing preventive and seasonal maintenance
- Maintaining grounds, amenities, and common areas
- Conducting safety inspections and identifying potential hazards
- Providing outstanding customer service during resident interactions
- Working closely with the maintenance and operations teams to ensure property goals are achieved
- Participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years of apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or related experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA Type I & II or Universal Certification
- Pool certification
- Prior multifamily housing experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
