Be part of bringing South Lake Tahoe's new Recreation and Aquatics Center to life! The City of South Lake Tahoe is seeking hands-on, team-oriented individuals to help keep this exciting community facility safe, clean, and ready for the public. If you enjoy active, varied work and take pride in creating welcoming spaces for the community, this is an opportunity to make a difference behind the scenes and help deliver great experiences for visitors, program participants, and event guests.
Duties may include:
Set up and break down tables, chairs, stages, and equipment for events, rentals, meetings, and recreation programs.
Assist with event operations, including responding to last-minute needs, adjusting room layouts, and providing on-site support.
Perform general custodial duties and routine facility cleaning to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Complete basic facility maintenance and minor repairs, including assigned painting, carpentry, and other upkeep.
Operate, clean, and maintain tools, equipment, and facility assets.
Work collaboratively with recreation staff, event organizers, instructors, and the public to keep activities running smoothly.
Schedule: Hours vary based on facility operations and event needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
