The YMCA Maintenance team is seeking strong technical skills in building systems and maintenance who has ability to troubleshoot and lead projects in keeping our facilities safe, efficient, and running smoothly. This position focuses on preventative and predictive maintenance, building safety, and day-to-day operations of essential systems. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to learn, grow, and make a real impact on the safety and functionality of our facilities.
The salary for this position starts at $26.00 hourly. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part-time or full-time status.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of a District Engineer, the Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the preventative/predictive maintenance program, general building safety/security, and safe, efficient operation of building systems. The MTII will be responsible for day-to-day duties including daily check lists and work orders, both scheduled and unscheduled.

This position reports to the District Engineer who reports to the Vice President of Facility Services. The incumbent interacts regularly with branch departments in responding to member concerns regarding maintenance issues.
