     Community Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician II to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our facilities. This role is ideal for someone with demonstrated hands-on maintenance experience for a minimum of three years, sound troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to supporting an environment focused on patient care.

    What You’ll Do:


    • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot building systems, grounds, equipment, and the physical plant.
    • Perform skilled preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, life safety, and other facility       systems.
    • Support systems that are essential to the organization’s patient care mission.
    • Work independently while applying sound judgment and technical knowledge to resolve maintenance issues.
    • Document maintenance activity accurately and consistently.
    • Participate in cross-training and ongoing skill development.
    • Serve as a technical resource to other maintenance staff when needed.
    What We’re Looking For:


    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
    • Associate degree in Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, or a related field highly preferred.
    • Must have demonstrated experience for a minimum of three years in facility maintenance, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, or related trades.
    • Ability to troubleshoot building system issues and complete preventive and corrective maintenance with limited supervision.
    • Ability to accurately document completed work.
    • Trade school training, healthcare facility maintenance experience, or applicable maintenance-related certification preferred.
    Candidates who do not have the required demonstrated experience and preferred degree may be considered for a Maintenance Tech I role.
