Compensation:

The expected starting base pay range for this position is $28.77 to $35.96 with a full potential base salary range over a successful candidate's tenure in the position of $28.77 to $43.15.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

This position may also be eligible for shift differentials, overtime pay, or other forms of additional compensation, in accordance with applicable Company policies and law.

Schedule:

Wednesday through Saturday from 1:00pm to 11:00pm

(After training- training schedule is Monday through Friday)

• Hours subject to change depending on business needs

The Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or GED, technical degree or trade school certificate preferred.
• 1 year of related experience and / or training in industrial maintenance, automated conveyor systems, material handling equipment or equivalent.
• Exposure to high voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds routinely.
• Current driver's license and clean driving record.

Your Mission in Motion:

A summary of the key responsibilities for this role is outlined below. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business and operational needs.

• Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment to keep operations running smoothly, responding in a timely manner to all material handling systems breakdowns.
• Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance to conveyor systems.
• Change and repair parts of conveyor systems, as well as rebuild and align equipment, gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.
• Use illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Conduct daily inspections of machinery for potential problems.
• From time to time, you may be called in after hours to ensure material handling and conveyor systems are working at optimum capacity.
• Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.

Paving your way to your success:

• You possess the ability to learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform job duties.
• You utilize company tools and are able to request new tools as needed.
• You demonstrate knowledge of material handling systems, industrial conveyor systems and controls in distribution, shipping, and sorting environments, VFDs, and electronic motors (480V).
• You possess knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures, Preventative Maintenance, and 3-Phase electrical work.
• You have the ability to read and understand schematics and electrical blueprints.
• You have mechanical and electrical aptitude and work experience.
• You possess knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• You are able to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate 24-hour operations, occasionally working extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• The hourly rate range above represents the national range for this position. The hourly rate range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base hourly rate offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job-related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations.
