Title: Maintenance Technician I
Location: Irving, TX
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay: $25.20 per hour

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the reliable operation of building systems, facilities, machinery, and equipment. This is an entry-level maintenance role that works under direct supervision and focuses on performing scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and facility-related issues and perform corrective repairs.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Support building and facilities maintenance projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinate and work with external contractors when necessary to complete maintenance activities.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
Required Experience
  • 1-3 years of maintenance, facilities, or related technical experience preferred.
  • Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems.
  • Basic troubleshooting and repair experience within mechanical and/or electrical environments.
