Why Join Our Team?

At The Gables, our maintenance professionals are valued members of the community — not just another technician on a long list of service calls. We offer a stable, clean, and professional work environment where you can build a long-term career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What Makes This Position Different?

  • Steady, predictable hours with minimal emergency call burden
  • No long-distance travel between service calls
  • Work in a single campus environment
  • Clean, safe workspaces
  • Well-maintained buildings and professional equipment
  • Consistent preventative maintenance program instead of constant “firefighting”
  • Opportunity to build relationships with residents and coworkers in a respectful community environment
  • Supportive leadership team that values your experience and input
  • Team-oriented atmosphere with pride in the work we do every day

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician I:

Maintenance Tech I assists all maintenance personnel in the short term, preventative and emergency maintenance programs for the buildings, grounds and equipment at the campus. Responsibilities will include the completion of all assigned work orders and maintenance projects under the supervision of the Director of Facility Services.
