Our client is a food manufacturer that is looking for an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance department. The right candidate for this role will have basic mechanical aptitude, technical school training, or limited maintenance experience, looking to jump to the industrial side. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, facility support, basic repairs, and developing foundational maintenance skills.

* Perform assigned preventive maintenance, including lubrication, filter changes, belt adjustments, inspections, and cleaning.
* Assist experienced technicians with repairs, equipment maintenance, installations, and production downtime response.
* Complete basic mechanical or facility repairs, such as simple component replacement, lighting, and machine guard maintenance, within training and authorization.





* Must have basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely
* Must have general understanding of preventive maintenance and ability to follow written instructions, manuals, and work orders
* Must be willing to learn industrial maintenance practices
