Maintenance Technician I - 1st Shift
Hartford, WI
Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $30.00 - $36.23/hour
Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing operation in Hartford, WI. This is a great opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional looking to work with advanced manufacturing equipment while enjoying competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and long-term career stability.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Install, modify, and improve manufacturing equipment
- Complete maintenance work orders within a CMMS system
- Support facility maintenance including HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, and lighting systems
- Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead cranes as authorized
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to safely troubleshoot industrial electrical systems up to 480 VAC
- CMMS experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Experience maintaining CNC equipment, automated machinery, laser systems, or press brakes
- Facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
